Plugs do look good color wise, what I'm looking for is what would look like little round metal balls stuck to the electrode or anywhere on the plugs metal surfaces. I can not see close enough in those pics, I'd need to see a real close up done with a good quality digital camera that has Macro focus feature. But you should be able to spot these balls of metal with a 2 or 5X magnifying glass or with you eye. Do you see any evidence of little metal balls? Looking at the pics I see what appears to be scaling on the surface, not to worried about that. Also the heat range looks appropriate if not a tad hot. You could try a slightly cooler plug. I really like the NGK Iridium plugs 'NGK 6637 BPR6EIX Single Iridium Spark Plug' and set the gap at 0.8mm and no wider than this. Drop from heat 7 to 6 range.

To the naked eye they all look the same, no one darker than another. If I took their labels off and mixed them around I would never tell the difference between say #1 and #6. They're Bosch WR7DC, in there since end of '09

Regarding running lean - when it was running on the MAF (the last 5 years <10k miles) I don't know. There was a NB02 gauge in the car that was useless. Since I replaced the MAF with the OEM AFM and installed the WB02 I have driven about 150 miles and I am pretty sure the AFR is nailed, 14.1 or 14.2 idle, steady state throttle driving at 3k RPM AFR is 13.9, WOT low 12s, maybe high 11s.
