After replacing cam cover seals twice on the Stepson, I vowed never to do that job or any other job further into the engine without pulling the engine first. The time savings is abundant and the cuss factor minimizes due to the ease by which you can access and torque everything.
Just pull the engine. Yes, it could be done withoutpulling it , but why make it harder than it needs to be?
