GT3's
That price looks to be be fair in today's market, as long as those 39k miles are not track miles. It sounds like it was street driven, but the ad is a little cryptic on the history - did he buy it used (and at what mileage) to be street driven or new?
I still have a used GT3 on my bucket list, but the wacky used GT3 market makes me sick. I thought I was fairly safe with a $75k used GT3 budget a few years ago before this latest run-up, but now I'm not sure what that will buy!
I can't stand the looks of the 996 (inside or outside), so it's out - no matter how good a driver it is, I just can't get past the looks.
I thought I might be able to afford (with normal depreciation of course) a 997.2 GT3, but with the new GT3's PDK only status (which instantly cemented the manual only 997 GT3 series as an instant classic) that's clearly not probable!
I just hope Porsche will introduce a new manual GT3 for those who enjoy the driving interaction rather than those who just want to shave a few tenths off their lap times - this might ease 997 GT3 market demand and give me hope!
