My wife is a nurse practitioner (spent years in the ICU and ED/trauma room beforehand as a nurse). Needless to say we're "well stocked"
A couple of years ago we we're watching our daughter play soccer as she collided with another player. From way over on the other side on the field we heard a loud "snap". My wife, without hesitation, says: "that's a collar bone". Sure enough, our daughter broke her collar bone.
