I had one each of these. (Not these exact ones, but close.)
I was a Triumph man, my buddy was an MG enthusiast. Much good-natured ribbing. Lucas was the common thread. The shoddy workmanship was mostly overlooked, because we had sports cars, and, if they were good enough for Peter Egan, than by god, they were certainly good enough for a couple of hillbillies from Idaho!
