It seems as though it's official now; Glenn is dead.
HuffPo: Glenn wasn't in the "Talking Dead" "In Memoriam" segment. Why do you think it was important to leave his death ambiguous?
Michael Traynor: I think the powers that be -- Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Scott Gimple, Greg Nicotero -- those guys want to honor all the brilliant work that Steven Yeun has done on the show. Scott Gimple has said we would see more of Glenn’s story. And I think that for it to be so abrupt would be a disservice to the fan base and to Steven Yeun. They want to honor whatever the end of the Glenn/Nicholas storyline is. They want to really give it the due it deserves.
