My window regulator novella

I tried rolling up the driver window the other day, heard a lot of weird noise... didn't sound like the motor was failing, just working too hard. Like a moron I pressed the button one more time, which lead to a huge/loud bang with the window glass disappearing into the door frame. No broken glass sound was a plus though.

Disassembled the door panel to figure out what happened. It looks like somehow the window got moved out of the channel, and then when I tried to force it up it caught on something. The channel is old dirty and looks like someone tried to DIY with too much weather stripping glue (that black alien stuff from Spiderman's Venom character).

After removing the regulator it looks like there is nothing wrong with it except for a broken limiter(?), these are what I'm calling those two pieces of hardware that bolt-on to the top/bottom of the regulator (and must limit the height of the window). Maybe this little bolt on aluminum stopper is what took the impact, it's shattered and bent.

Further more only the bottom one is damaged, which makes me also wonder who would be prouder of me: Sir Isaac Newton or Sherlock Homes?

Other than that the regulator looks fine... I REALLY don't want to spend $400+ on a new regulator when this tiny but important bolt on aluminum piece is the only thing clearly broken. Can't find a part number or any thing on Pelican to help.

Big Karma points await anyone who 1) has actually read this 2) has any clue what this part is called and where I can by one!
