I'm no expert but I have gone the last three years. Every year I have bought main paddock seats (which are the best for Indy), and all three times I have ended up in the in field sitting on one of the hills. This year I will be buying the cheepest seats and sitting in the infield. It is amazing hearing those cars as they come out of the turn, traction control barking as the tires try to get grip. They slide quite a bit going around the turns too which suprised me. There are also a lot of attractions in the infield. If it were my first year, I would sit in the expensive seats, just so I would feel like I didn't miss anything. But, I don't think there is anything to miss out there. Although the start is pretty neat. By the way, is there a Porsche get together this year? Last year there were quite a few nice 911s parked in the infield as part of that PCNA gathering.
