So basicly the G50/03 would fit in after shortening and putting the old housing on the front side of the gearbox....if so id say thats the way to go....rebuild/check internaly/externaly will be done anyways if i have to buy a used gearbox, so the shortening doesnt scare me too much.... slight mods to the torsion tube are easy and could be done now while its stripped to the bare chassis.....but not interested in cutting half the car in pieces.

PS: car will not get a turbine, but could get a fully build 3.8 liter engine after one or two seasons.....so dont want to make wrong decisions now.....
