I bought a foot of heater hose and relocated my heater control valve back and towards the passenger side- I recommend that mod because it not only moves it out of the way of the sensors, but if it ever fails it wont leak coolant into the inspection hole. With the engine cold I lost very little coolant in the process.

If the sensor bracket is stuck, dont forget to remove the third sensor towards the drivers side- the little diagnostic sensor that is NLA and not needed will keep the bracket from coming out
