Taz - the Walther is more of a historic piece - it was made in 1943 in Germany, in the middle of some scuffle.

While it is not in mint condition, it is more of a piece with history that I don't mind taking to the range. The springs are tired and that does lessen it's reliability a bit - so I would not trust it if my life depended on it. It is also a .32 acp - which does not have much stopping power. But it is a blast to shoot - and that trigger is perhaps the smoothest, most precise trigger I've ever pulled.
As for the Bersa - believe it or not, once in a while they do let me out of the socialist state of New Jersey. ;-). My bro-in-law lives in AZ, for example. And you can get out of state ccw's in states like Utah and Flordia.... But ultimately, my hope is that there will be a call for national reciprocity for ccw, which would greatly help clear up the confusion about where you have a right to bear arms. Wishful thinking? Maybe.
