I really like the V-Line wall combo box. You can counter sink into the drywall so it's almost flush. It lags from the inside into the side of the stud. If a burglar had a big crowbar and a lot of time, he could break in eventually, but the purpose of this type of gun locker isn't to secure valuables from theft.

The V-Line is a five button push sequence that is VERY easy to do in the dark. I will never own any kind of electronic lock again. I had a digital safe lock once that failed. it took several days before the manufacture could get somebody out to fix it. Replaced it with an old fashioned combo dial.
