Because all the manufacturers are focused on convincing you that you need a fancy new necked down cartridge.....that costs $1.50 a round....and requires you to buy a new rifle.
"7mm Remington Short Action Ultra Magnum"...wtf? It's a the perfect gun for a guy who orders a "two pump extra hot half shot pumpkin spice soy latte".
