FQF is a blast. It's all free and they set up about 12 stages along the river and parks in the area. You can wander from stage to stage, and a new band comes on every hour or so. Everything from zydeco to jazz singers to big brass, and everything in between
It's also the best time to be in NO...perfect spring weather with no humidity..
It's getting more popular each year.
