Sounds like my box pre rebuild. PO adjusted it to favour the 1-2 shift, but as a result the 5th and reverse were so bad that the reverse lockout was not engaging. I got the gears fine however. I think it was just abysmal adjustment.
I have a wevo now too. My only thought is that in 4th under hard throttle the shifter taps.
