This was the last 914 I did back in the early 90's It was very quick.

Took several weeks fixing hacked wiring, getting the DPD air working and all the little usual things. 1.8 smooth as butter but needs more power. I want to keep it FI. Doing alot of reading to figure out what to do. I also have a 1980 Vanagon 2.0 motor sitting around.
I have a 59 Ghia being restored and a 72 Hippie bus to haul stuff around. Bus is a 1.7 that had hydrolic lifter put in during its rebuild and wheezes out but runs like a top. Need more ponies there too. I am thinking of taking which ever motor is left and converting it for the Ghia.
Any suggestions for what motor needs what and which car it should go in would be appreciated. Keeping the 914 around 100hp would be fine as it will be my daily driver. I just sold my Trans Am WS6 so I am having a little HP withdrawal LOL
