I just bailed on my 15 year old Trane 2 stage. It had an intermittent glitch that was tough to track down. Couldn't trust it and didn't want to throw money at it.
There is a new York 97% two stage variable blower furnace in place. The cost was only twice the material cost to repair the Trane. YMMV
