No, but an extra battery does -) Substantially !!! I went from 12V to 18V for my kid by adding one small extra battery and 2 wires (plus one fuse), I hear you can do 24V but I thought the gearbox might explode... The thing is really fun with 50% more power ! The kid is a master of lift-off U turns, donuts and countersteer now !
Last hurdle is to get him to stay focused on where he's going at all times, as he can now drive into parked cars harder when looking back proudly instead of forward!!!!
