I was about 8-10 when my beloved Stingray bike frame cracked.
Dad was a educated man with zero Roman practical knowledge. All Greek.
Local bike shop welded it.
Charged $45 in late 70's dollars. Yeah.
Back tire ended up crooked and rubbed the frame. That is a problem.
No Good. NG.
No other adjustment possible.
I pointed it out to the lazy worker.
He didn't care.
I wanted to drag the damn thing in the back room at the time and fix it myself.
