Haha agreed. I'm no music critic and positive that actual musical artists would cringe at my choices. I like classical through country. All genre's save jazz and techno (that viking guy high on meth music).
Beatles - a couple songs with incredible lyrics and music, but hated their voices.
Hendrix - I can't put my finger on it but it all sounds convoluted and nuts. I don't smoke dope so maybe that's it? I acknowledge his guitar wizardness but again none of his songs touch me.
Jethro Tull - from the first note I am looking for another station.
Rush - every single song sounds the same. At one point I liked songs off of Tom Sawyer but they aged quickly and a 3 piece band can only go so far.
My mix tape is very diverse. Some say I have no vision because I love some billboard hit songs. Guilty as charged. I am a son raised by a father that only heard melody, and a mother that cherished lyrics. Only stating the facts here and not challenging anyone.
Edit - perhaps my "fall on sword moment", I do like some Nickelback songs...and Creed. Critics hate them oh well.
