Garage
I love the passionate discussion that any thread involving Magnus inevitably becomes. It's a reflection of our love for the cars, and Porsche in general, otherwise, nobody would give a rat's ass. Many (most) of us have a car that Porsche made and it sits in the garage untouched, pretty much in it's original form. Why? Because we either don't have the time, money, or expertise to do anything different; or we are completely happy with our car as it came off the showroom floor. There are those of us who believe that what the factory does is sacred, and to deviate is blasphemous. There are others who like to build things and develop our cars to suit our needs and personal taste. Both groups are fine, neither is wrong. The thing that I think gets lost sometimes is that Magnus isn't building cars for anyone but himself, in the same way that anything I do to my car is for me. For instance, I want to do IROC front and rear bumpers with a duck tail. These two things are not "period correct" with each other, but I like the way they look.
I think Magnus' new ride is really nicely done. The build quality is great. I don't like the rear end, but then again I think all 964s look like they have been kicked in the ass. For myself, I would have lost the rear reflector, but that would be easier said than done without going the obvious route of copying Singer. But hey, it's not my car. Although... I'd really like to take it for a good blast!!

Magnus, if you are on here, please accept my heartfelt condolences. Nice to see that your Mom is with you as well.
