Our family favorite for holiday desert we call Chocolate Plane Crash Pie. It's an ice box pie with chocolate cookie crust lined with chocolate chips, then filled with chocolate pudding, layered with chocolate syrup, then chocolate mousse, and topped with shaved chocolate. My SIL made an all chocolate ice box pie and my nephew said it was like a chocolate plane crashed. So it was officially named and has been a holiday favorite since. She said it was inspired by a Crunchy Bottom Chocolate Cake I made. I layered the bottom of the pan with chocolate chips before pouring in the cake, cooked it then topped it with fudge icing. So for me anything NOT chocolate mixed up in a desert just isn't as good.
