My son's 2001 Tacoma was with him back in New York for four years. He moved back here to The Bay Area and needed me to fix his front brakes. They were surging when he was lightly applying pressure. Holy cow! The under carriage had rusted badly from the salted roads. The rotors had rust spots on them causing the surging. I would never buy a used vehicle from the land of salted roads.
