1982 3.0L questions
I've got a stock 3.0 that I'm putting in my 71T. The dizzy has been recurved and I have SSI's. I'm set to buy PMO's and they suggested I port my intakes from 34 to 38. I was told this can be done safely on an engine stand with the intake valve closed and a rag stuffed in. Then turn the engine upside down and take the port out to 38 and vacuum out the chips. No sanding as this would require the engine to be disassembled and cleaned. Then move to the next port. I would have a machine shop do this. Supposed to be worth about 10 HP. Has anyone done this?
