Weird thing, though - the old passenger side stay (on bottom) was the original one, but the drivers side (top one) had been replaced with this one. Doesn't look familiar at all, though it functioned ok. Any ideas where it was from?

Question. I just had my shop install new door checks and do the reinforcement kit at the same time as a precautionary measure. Is any of the reinforcement kit visible or is it all on the inside of the door?
