Of course there is sooo much more.............................My Dad and his twin brother came from almost nothing, Depression era farm life. They were both in ROTC in high school and that is what paid for their college education at VPI - when my uncle failed accounting his senior year and had to repeat it, (whole 'nother good story!) my Dad worked on the farm and waited until they could attend together.

Upon graduating form VPI, they immediately went to serve - Dad in the European theater until the war was over. I joke constantly when people ask if I was in the service, I say not directly. My Dad served for a little over 2 years, but our family served for at least 18+ at home!
