Installed a set of Magnecore wires. Runs better but now I know it's not the wires that are causing the missfire and crappy popping. I need to adjust the valves and rebuild the CIS. Stupid ice storm has put a halt to any work that can be done since the M3 is the only car in the one car garage. Wife's driver...happy wife, happy life as they say.
Kudo's to our host. I ordered the wires last Friday,received them on Tuesday only to realize that they sent me a set for a 924/944...uhg!!! Second time this has happened in as many months. First an oil hose and now this. I called and sent pics of the wrong parts. The correct wires were expressed overnight and on the porch Wednesday morning. Thanks Pelican and the helpful staff.
