I think they run these poor guys ragged. MY last UPS driver was the most stressed out mess of a guy I have ever seen. He would start at 7 am every day, and have to run till 7-8 every night. He had to make something like 80-120 stops per day.
They guy was always covered in sweat, and sounded incredibly frustrated . Never had an extra second to chit chat. He always looked like he was 2 seconds from going postal ( pun intended )
There is a younger guy running the route now, and he seems to be handling it better.
Every once in a while, a package gets misplaced , but they have always showed up the next day.
