Offered my next door neighbor that has no tree limbs in his yard if he wanted all of mine for his fireplace as I know he likes to burn wood. He laughed and said, No thanks that's stuff is cottonwood. It burns up as fast as I can stuffed it in there. Not worth carrying from the yard to the fireplace let alone hacking into firewood. Gave him my chain saw years ago when I found the city would pick up the big limbs (well, and I couldn't get the worthless piece of junk started).

He says he was hoping the storm would have taken down the only tree left in his yard, but it has already lost it leaves so it didn't lose even a twig.

The firemen in our area has been clearing the limbs out of the streets. Lots of people in town still without power.

Just try lighting a pile around here and the city will smile and charge more in fines than it would cost to pay someone to whittle toothpicks out of it.
