Return of Lightfighter...

Truthfully, my "internet footprint" has shrunk considerably, I burned out on ADV and the KTM 690 mega thread, and I don't carry a real camera anymore to post half-assed ride reports either. But there's some cool folks here, so I figured my re-entry into S-dom was worth announcing.

Its not a long story, I decided I wanted one again, looked at some BCR's, then stumbled across this on craigslist in LA:

Those who know me might recall the S I never really got to ride much, sold it for a few reasons, none valid. It was the bestest color. For sure.

The seller was a nice chap I think... Got the bike several years ago from his departed uncle Frank, a pilot who evidently didn't ride a whole lot, since he only put 7000 miles on is after buying it new in 2004. Nick(the nephew) rides a 600 around on tracks mostly, if I understood him right. He couldn't grow to love the too tall for him boxer, and mentioned that it leans over badly when you gas it(yup, thats right Nick, I always kinda thought of that as a "feature").

So I drove 500 miles and *gasp* trailered it home.

New tires, AZ tags, and a fresh tank of gas... It was magic riding a straight street ride again.

It's a 2004 Prep, with 7500 miles, and one leaky fork seal.
