Porting - a religion and science mixed-
I have done a few different kinds of heads including my 911
A stock 2.7 C/R stock induction, home made exhaust . Boat tail mains, polished pistons , polished valves.
It pulled 165 HP / TQ @ Rears on about a 50 OAT, about sea level ..Not too shabby if I may say so.
My point to make - some of the most crucial points are the valve ridges, the protrusion between seats and heads are often standing proud .
None of this you will get at with the heads attached .
