Those are just newish H1's. It was very dark that night - probably on hi-beam.
The vent is in Riverside county not far from Lake Matthews. My estimator drives past it and asked me what it was. We hiked up to it and you could hear the vacuum created from what must be water passing beneath. The weird thing is that it was at the top of the hill - the aqueduct had to be hundreds of feet below.
That 67 Vette was in Upland at my neighbor/friend's house. I think the owner's name is John? Small (car) world, eh?
