My Brain Is Hot
My 914-6 has been upgraded to the 1984 Carerra 3.2 engine. The Motronic FI brain is installed in my back trunk.
I checked the 3.2 motronic brain yesterday after driving and it was very hot to the touch. I could not touch it more than a few seconds. It would burn me if I touched it too long. The trunk was equally hot. Should I be concerned that my brain is getting too hot in the trunk or is that sort of heat within tollerances for the unit? If I should be concerned, how concerned should I be?
