A lot of the "too good to be true" is hidden in the (much) higher deductibles.
BCBS patients used to come in and their eye exams were paid for. Now, almost none are since their .gov insurance plan deductibles are so much higher. We spend a lot of time explaining this since most don't understand why they didn't have to pay with the old Blue Cross but do with the new BC for the same exam.
