Charlie Brown had just graduated from NYU. With the weather in Virginia so beautiful in late June, and with several job offers in hand, he decided to take a three day backpacking trip with his faithful dog Snoopy IV, partly to find new fly fishing spots, but mostly to clear his mind and consider his future employment options. On the second day of their hike, Charlie, or "Chucky" as the Little Red Haired girl, now his fiancé, called him, stumbled across an old abandoned cabin. Inside Chucky found some very interesting old artifacts….A leather football, and old Mauser that the previous owner tried saving buy wrapping the broken stock in gauze from his first aid kit, and a couple boxes of antique ammo. He was going to just leave the items in the cabin, but as his best friend Lucy, a wonderful friend now that she came out as a lesbian and no longer has anger issues, was a collector of junk and owner of a antique store in town. Of course Chucky considered Lucy a hoarder, but nobody confronted her on this. On the third morning, after hauling Lucy's crap up the first of the three steep climbs on the hike, Chucky paused on the mesa. He thought to himself, do I really need to haul this broken old rifle and heavy ammo up these hills and back just to contribute to Lucy's hoarding issues. …But Snoopy does seem to enjoy playing with the football. I think I'll keep that.
