Yesterday was the first chance I had to get to Awesome trim since she arrived, and the guys were there with the fabricator that will make my rear seat delete. He is having to create a mould for the whole thing, so if it turns out right, we could make more if anyone is interested? That is still a few months away.
First thing was to offer up the rear reflector that LadyWrench designed the decal for:
Which from certain angles is just a black strip, but when facing it at 90 degrees with the headlights on looks a bit like this:
That has turned out better than I hoped - Less is more in this case.
The next part that arrived was the hood badge that I got from Jim AKA intrepidagent, which I offered up to the hood just to see I made the right choice:
Which has also turned out well, but now seeing his whole range of designs I'm wondering if I should have been more adventurous... This pic shows the paint finish quite well too, with a proud RocketWrench in the reflection....
