Bob,
I can probably help you with the RX-7 retractable headlight mechanism wiring. I have the same setup from Golden Coachworks, which I installed back in 1990. I also modified the linkage mechanism to eliminate headlight shake. I have the round headlights but also have a set of rectangular ones for backup.
