So took them to the car to ensure that they fit correctly in the holes in the doors and not too deep. Seems they are fine:
We had various discussions about the placement of the tweeters, and eventually settled on a flush fit just above the woofer as I am deaf and need the fidelity of the higher pitches.
Other ideas were in the air vents and at the bottom of the door pockets, but on the doors themselves seemed the best option, unless anyone has a better idea?
The crossovers are also a work of art, so shame these will not be seen at all.
