I wouldn't turn down a subscription to Octane. Slick!
I subscribe to AND read only two mags:
- New Yorker
- Freehub (beautiful mountain bike mag)
Neighbor gives me old copies of Science (it is a weekly but one issue takes > month to read.) Perfect if you need something to really chew on.
Economist went way downhill about 10 years ago, analysis not good enough to be interesting. Pander to their readership.
