It was bright and sunny here on Saturday with little wind so we flew our little Corsair. I did not wait for the timer because it was so cold it stopped working and my hands told me it was time to quit. A good day of not crashing otherwise. I even braved some barrel rolls.
We had some snow Friday night and there is a hill just outside of town where mom and dad live. There were five cars at the bottom because it got so slick they couldn't stop going down and couldn't make it back up. The fire truck went out to direct traffic and the driver was just leaving town and let off the gas for the first little turn and it started to slide. He said he wasn't going to hit the brakes and slide of the road so he just drove out of it. He also happens to be one of the premier dirt track drivers in the area so he was used to looking out the passenger window to drive.
We then had thunderstorms last night and lots of precipitation through this morning. All of the unfrozen kind fortunately.
Rick, we have several maple trees. They shed everything from twigs to logs so we keep nothing that isn't expendable under them. We do have the fire ring between and under two of them for convenience.
Short day here for me. The littler one has a Christmas concert at 2:30. I am not big into concerts or parades and I have a serious dislike for Christmas music but they are only little once.
