Glad you are getting better and that the heart attack was not fatal! I had one in May of last year but it was during a stress test and that is a really helpless feeling and there is really nothing you can do about it if it is away from the medical folks. Fortunately for me mine was in the ultrasound room and I went through the longest 10 minutes of my life! You mentioned a completely blocked artery so I have to ask, how are the others and was a close inspection of them done while the stent was put in? I would surely hope so and how bad are they as far as flow of blood? In my case all were 75 to 80% blocked so I had quad bypass as the surgeon said the stents would not last me very long as it seems they get filled up and the the artery plugs again?

You are very right in saying the people in the heart center are great and mine sure were. At the UCSD heart center and most other hospitals in So Cal they all the staff from nurses to the surgeon are very specialized and really know their jobs! Oh yeah did they run that big tube in through your wrist or up through your thigh? I know when they pulled mine out it was one of the weirdest feelings I have ever had........
