Lysholm dry-screw compressor, very similar to some Fairbanks Morse compressors I worked on in my yoot (only bigger).
The input shaft (closest to the worker) has 3 male lobes and turns twice as fast as the female lobed shaft.
Louder than hell, they have trouble meeting the OSHA maximum sound threshold.
