Turbo variants have all the charms of naturally aspirated models plus numerous additional unique quirks that make the entire experience exponentially more hardcore...Conceptually speaking they are like a four-wheeled oven that burns money and fuel...Personally I would not touch one with ANY accident history, no matter how minor the damage or entertaining the story...They are factory performance cars that enjoy a bit of an overstated reputation for real performance, at least in stock trim...Properly beefing up motors, brakes and suspension pays big dividends by way of performance, but try to avoid falling into the trap of reinventing the wheel...If you simply must have a Porsche 930, the old saw about "buying the very best driver available at your price point" has never rung more true, as projects take on a life of their own and never materialize on time and within budget...The equation tilts in your favor if you own the right tools and have the specialized knowledge to use them correctly...Factor in the newest ones are 30-plus years old and can be outclassed on road and track by a properly equipped Cayman and the attraction begins to fade...With all that said, buy the damn thing, if only to prove me wrong...RTN/XXX/OOO
