I'm not sure 930 owners purchased the cars with lap times in mind. For me I plan on doing track days, but of course know newer cars will be faster. It's about the driving experience and I think a 930 will deliver more than a Cayman.

That's probably true, but I believe I've seen adds of 996/997 turbo owners trying to trade up for 930's which does say something..correct me if I'm wrong
