Of course it will fly. Anything will fly with a high enough HP to weight ratio. When we got into flying combat missions we would build a basic airplane with no airfoil wings and just a big elevator and rudder. Hang a high RPM .40 engine and go. Some only lasted a few minutes, but they flew.
