Yes, it takes a while for sure and the coughing was a pain....in the chest. The hospital auxiliary ladies make heart shaped pillows that you carry around all the time and squeeze tightly when you start to cough! I was pretty lucky in that I really had no pain except for that weird skin sensation where the nerves get cut when opening you up. They said the vein they pulled out of my leg was real good so I was happy about that.

My main concern about yellowpearl is the use of the meds to get rid of the blockage and I would imagine the heart folks will watch him closely? I get checked every 6 months now and last Friday the specialist said all sounded really great and the stroke specialist said I was pretty much over the mini stroke so I can quit taking that dammed Plavix!
