There are plenty of 3.2L/3.3L cranks out there for around $1,000. You can get a new GT3 crank at any Porsche dealership for around $2,000 (I paid $1,800 for mine). With that crank you can build a 3.6L with 100mm Mahle pistons/cylinders, or a 3.8L using 102mm LNE pistons/cylinders based on the 3.2L case. With some big cams, the PMO's and Pauter or Carillo rods, you can easily make a 350Hp+ engine!
