Maybe his tires were not up to operating temp and the on coming traffic didn't allow enough road to throttle thru. Lift, snap and spin. It looks like he did the best he could.

LOL, well, the "Best he could" would be to not drive hard on cold race tires on public roads, no? Hey, mistakes happen, we've all done them, and while he should (and does) know better, I'm glad nobody was hurt, and he spun EXACTLY how he did. The back of truck bumpers coming through the drivers window can end badly.
