Step #2: Remove old window. Cut seal all around, remove old trim, press on glass gently from inside and see that it moves, put suction cup on window, gentle pull to check that it's gripping (I do mean gentle, really gentle), watch windshield shatter.

Step #5: Break up old windshield into garbage can. Stab thumb with broken glass. Tape it up and keep working on things in garage because it's just a cut.
