It's a hopeful price for sure. They are special cars. The one that sold at Amelia in 2014 for $236K was gorgeous. Probably worth $350K now.
With a non-original motor and the flares sawed off like that (really, that's a top thing that's special on these cars - rear flares), I don't know if it'd be worth it. It would have myriad stories and lots and lots of body work, and in the end you wouldn't have the original motor. And since these are collector cars, a collector who is going to pay $175K for that heap knows it's better to pay another $175K for a really nice car and be done with it.
That car has $100K worth of body work on it to bring it even close to the ones that have sold in the $300s.
